The Affordable Connectivity Program
The Affordable Connectivity Program is designed to help low income American households get access to the internet at a discount.
Benefits
Up to a $30 per month discount on your internet service
Up to a $75 per month discount if your household is on qualifying Tribal lands
A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)
Eligibilities (only need 1)
Based on your household income
If you or your child or dependent participate in certain government assistance programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, or other programs
If you or anyone in your household already receives a Lifeline benefit

Takes like 10 minutes to apply. Make sure the name on the internet provider account is exactly the same as the name on the ACP application. I qualified because I was a student, but my dad’s name was on the account. Changing the name was an annoying process and took a few phone calls to RCN, but we eventually got it to change the account to my name. So my household paid nothing for internet service for the entire time I was in college. It would be silly not to take advantage of the ACP because technically your taxes already paid for it. Plus the more people who use it, the more likely the government would improve it. Just like Eternal Return Black Survival (please play it).
